We’re kind of quiet here at Real Intent on General Conference weekend. We, like you, are taking the time to listen carefully, ponder deeply, and enjoy time with our families. Let’s meet back here on Monday to share it all!

#TwitterStake did a great job lighting up Twitter again this conference. Someone made an interesting comment though that we should be trending every day, not just two weekends a year.

5/10 of the top 10 trending topics today were Conference related:

    #ldsconf
    Elder Bednar (no surprise there!)
    #TwitterStake
    General Conference
    Cedar City

    Can’t wait for Monday!

Pres. Dalton will get slammed unfairly by people who didn’t bother to listen to her entire story of the carpet in the conference center and won’t try to understand the point she was making.

Pres. Uchtdorf’s talk in the Priesthood Session was stunning – truly amazing. Reading it will be good, but I recommend HIGHLY that everyone who missed it watch the video to get the full emotion and delivery. Along with Elder Wirthlin’s “Concern for the One” (which was one of the foundation texts for this talk, I am certain), this is my new all-time favorite General Conference talk – and that isn’t hyperbole.

Very inspiring weekend! What was your favorite speaker? What theme did you see this general conference?

  4. Ray says:

and then Elder Holland gave another instant favorite talk.

Also, the final session was a great way to end it.
